SPJ Systems’ product support policy:

We are committed to provide technical support to users of our products. We try to keep our documentation up to date and accurate. Despite that, some users may need to ask specific questions related to our products. This page describes our support policy. We also have Frequently Asked Questions page for SC51: C Compiler for 8051. Similar FAQ pages will be offered in future for other products too. If you don’t see answer to your question in the FAQ, you may fill-up this Technical Support Form. If you think the form is not adequate to specify your question correctly / completely, then you may simply send your question to us.

What kinds of questions qualify as “Technical Support Questions”?

·        Questions related to our product(s).

·        Questions asking for information which is not mentioned in the documentation / users manual. Actually, when you ask this kind of question, we try to update our documentation and manuals, so that all other users will be benefited.

·        Questions like “How do I do this … using your product?” For example, if you are a user of our C Compiler for 8051 (SC51), you may ask questions like “How do I know the size of stack?

What kinds of questions do NOT qualify as “Technical Support Questions”?

·        Questions not related to our product(s).

·        Questions asking for information that is beyond our scope (even though it maybe related to our product). For example, if you are a user of our C Compiler for 8051 (SC51), you may NOT ask questions related to the ‘C’ programming language itself (“What is the difference between && operator and & operator?”).

Can I call you / visit your office to ask a Technical Support Question?

No. We discourage you from doing so. Answering a Technical Support Question requires significant resources on our part – this includes time of our Support Engineer as well as other tools and knowledgebase. We cannot make these resources available to users over telephone or by personal visit.

What is the fastest way of getting a Technical Support Question answered?

Please follow these steps, in the sequence as below:

1.      Be sure that your question really qualifies as a Technical Support Question.

2.      Please visit FAQ page for the related product, if available. Browse the list of questions at the top of page. If a question similar to yours is there, simply click on it and read the answer.

3.      If that does not satisfy you, fill-up this Technical Support Form. When done, click on the SUBMIT button. It will automatically send the form to us by email.

4.      If you think the form is not adequate to specify your question correctly / completely, then you may simply write to us.

5.      Please allow us 3-4 working days to reply to your question. Remind us only if you get no response within 3-4 working days. Please note, Saturday and Sunday are weekly off for us.
