Location: Our office is in Baner -
about 11 Km to the west of Pune Railway Station, at the foot of a small hill.
Office hours: Every employee is required
to come to office, at any time between 08:00 and 10:00. We work 9 hours a day
and take 30 minutes break for lunch. So one needs to stay in office for nine
and half hours (inclusive of half hour lunch break). So one can leave office at
some time after 17:30, depending on when he/she arrived. We work 5 days a week
with Saturday and Sunday off.
Remuneration: Our salaries are equal to
or above Software Industry standard. Generally a new employee will be put on
probation for upto 6 months. Depending on performance, he/she may get confirmed
after probation period – and also may get a rise.
Fun: Of-course, everybody likes
a break once in a while. So, sometimes we head straight for an obscure peak in
the Sahyadri mountain range - for example Telbailya near Mulshi Dam. Or Tungi
near Pavana Dam, and so on…
Positions available
(updated Dec. 2007): Currently we are looking to fill these vacant positions:
1. Development Engineers
(Software and Hardware) (code = DE): The qualities we look for in
Development Engineers are:
a.
High IQ.
b. Experience that proves your
skills. The skill areas we need are: 8/16/32 bit micro-controller based system
design, FPGA / CPLD based designs, software development in C and/or Assembly
Language, with and without RTOS, Embedded Linux, GUI software development using
VC++.
c. First class academic career.
The
requirement for current vacancies are:
a.
Required
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. (Electronics / E & TC)
b. Required Experience: Upto 2
years in: 8/16/32 bit micro-controller based system design, FPGA / CPLD based
designs, software development in C and/or Assembly Language, with and without
RTOS, GUI software development using VC++.
c. Responsibility: to be part
of the development team – which works on micro-controller based projects and
system software tools development.
2. Project Leader (Software and
Hardware) (code = PL):
a.
Required
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. (Electronics / E & TC)
b. Required Experience: 5+
years in many of these areas: 8/16/32 bit micro-controller based system design,
FPGA / CPLD based designs, software development in C and/or Assembly Language,
with and without RTOS, GUI software development using VC++. Experience of
component selection, schematic design, PCB design, firmware and software
development, overall project management, customer communication is desired.
c. Responsibility: to lead a development
team and shoulder complete project responsibility.
3. PCB Design Engineer (code = PDE):
a.
Required
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering / E & TC or equivalent.
b. Experience of Schematic
drafting and PCB design is desired. Familiarity of EAGLE software will be highly desirable.
c. Exceptional candidates
without any experience will be also considered.
4. Sales / Marketing Engineer
(code = SME):
a.
Required
Qualification: B.E.or M.Sc. Electronics
b. Required Experience:
Candidates with similar experience preferred, but fresh graduates will be
considered too.
c. Responsibilities: to meet
customers and potential customers, demonstrate products, handle sales and
marketing related correspondence (such as quotations).
