The prices mentioned above are exclusive of all taxes. At present taxes are applicable as follows:
· Customers within Maharashtra state: Add 4 % VAT
· Customers outside Maharashtra state: Add 10.0 % Central Sales Tax
· Octroi (wherever applicable) will have to be paid extra by the purchaser.
· Add Rs. 250/- as freight charges for any order.
Upon receiving your confirmed purchase order (see details below), we dispatch the ordered software on C.O.D. basis. i.e. When the parcel (it usually includes a CD or floppy disk(s) and a user's manual) arrives in your city / town, you will need to hand over a Demand Draft (drawn in favour of "SPJ Systems", payable at Pune) for the full amount to the courier delivery person, so he will deliver the parcel to you. In order to facilitate you to keep the Demand Draft ready, we can fax or email you a copy of the Invoice or Proforma Invoice on request.
· Your PO number and date.
· Name(s) of the product(s) which you wish to purchase.
· Required media (either 1.44 MB floppy disks or CD).
· Price, quantity and amount for each product (specify product name as it appears in the above prices table and also specify the OS platform on which it should work.)
· Total of amount.
· Taxes and freight.
· Grand Total.
· Date on which we should dispatch (this is important, so that by the time the parcel reaches there, you can keep the Demand Draft and 'C' form - if any - ready).
· Your State and Central Sales Tax registration numbers.
· If your organization is exempt from paying octroi, then please attach the "Octroi Exemption Certificate" with the PO.
· To send material from outside into certain states (e.g. West Bengal, U.P., Uttaranchal), a document called as Waybill is required. In such case, the Waybill must be attached with the PO. If you need a copy of the Invoice or Proforma Invoice for this purpose, you can request us to email / fax it to you.
Whenever we release an upgrade for any of our software products, we inform all customers by email. Then you can send us an upgrade request, so we will send you the upgrade files by email. If you want us to send the upgrade files on CD-ROM, you will need to pay Rs. 300/- as handling charges. You may send the Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- alongwith your upgrade request so that we can send you the upgrade on CD-ROM.
Once you purchase any of our software products, you can email all your technical support questions regarding that product to support@spjsystems.com . Usually our tech. support team will answer your question within a couple of days, however, occasionally they may take some more time if there are too many questions from too many people. Of-course, as the number of customers is growing, we are also trying to expand our tech. support team strength proportionately, so usually you will not have to wait more than 2-3 working days.
We request all customers to restrict their tech. support questions to the specific product which they have purchased rather than asking general questions which you can ask any consultant. e.g. if you purchased our C Compiler for 8051, you may ask us questions which are specific to using certain special features of the compiler (such as SFRs). However, please do not expect us to teach you the 'C' programming language in general. There are many books and other sources from where you can get more information about C programming language (even our C Compiler for 8051 page lists some useful books). As far as possible, our support team will try to answer all your questions. But if you restrict your questions to the specific product, we will be able to service you and other customers in a better way.
